Welcome To My Site

Do you feel overwhelmed by your life? Do you feel stuck in an unhappy place? Things can get better, but it requires you to make some changes. The good news is that you can make changes! Let me help you heal and transition from no longer enjoying life to thriving and loving life.

I work with adults who suffer from trauma, anxiety, depression, or going through challenging life transitions. I specialize in EMDR treatment and also offer EMDR intensive sessions to provide you with quick and lasting relief.

Don’t let stigma or pride hold you back from getting help

Have you avoided seeing a therapist because you don't want to be labeled with a diagnosis or be considered crazy? Are you worried about what others think if you go to therapy? These are all silly reasons to hold off getting help!

Working with a counselor allows you to openly speak about your worries without being judged or putting a burden on a loved one. As a therapist, I am on your side, but I am also not a stakeholder in your life, which makes it safe for you to open up.

Am I the right fit for you?

It is essential that you like your therapist. You figure this out either during our consultation call or at the latest during our first session. If you are looking for a very direct and honest therapist who is going to hold you accountable but also can laugh and cry with you, we will probably be a good match. If you are looking for a more subdued approach, you likely will be better matched with someone else, which is okay. Every therapist has their own style and you should find someone that is an ideal match for your needs.

I operate as a private pay (cash pay) clinician, which means I don’t take insurance. This is the only way I can provide superb care to you, as it allows me to operate without the limitations of healthcare organizations and I am also not required to submit diagnostic codes that create a permanent record outside my office.
